GETTING TO KNOW EACH OTHER
At first I had a hard time befriending guys and gals who were new in my sight. But it became easy for me because they respond to me and approach me as friendly as I thought it wouldn't be. THANK GOD. They were so friendly that I feel like I was the new one there. Haha. Most of my new-found friends were older than I, and some are at my age. We talked, we laughed, we said "hi"s and "hello"s to each other, shared stories. We girls even call ourselves the housemates in PBB TEENS! Hahaha. On the last day of camp, we exchanged mobile numbers. And, yeah, we started sending SMS's to one another.
THE CAMP
As far as I can remember, this was the BEST CAMP I'VE EVER HAD. Aside from getting to know each other with new-found friends, this was the camp where I learned so much than the other camps I joined. Praise and worship, knowledgeable sessions with one pastor at a time, the anointment, the warm-up games/challenges, the "7 deadly sins" games, falling in line for mealtime, sight-seeing, chitchats and all.
THE PLACE
The place is very wonderful. You can really see how great God's creations are. Mountains, grassy plains, trees, skies, clouds and fogs. We saw everything from the retreat house because we were in an elevated part of the place. The rarest thing about the place is one of their comfort rooms where the boys owned it for 3 days. I have tried using it and it was like you're unsecured, because when you sit on the toilet, instead of facing a concrete wall, you will face a fence-like "wall" wherein you could really think everyone/everything on the outside can freely see you. Hahaha! But surely, you're safe and secured there, no one can see you from outside because, I repeat, it is in an elevated slope. Besides, no other people live there.
So, that was awesome, right?
I WAS AND AM SO BLESSED WITH THESE PEOPLE, THEY COMPLETE MY CHRISTIANITY. =)))))))) THANK YOU, LORD! IMBA KA TALAGA! :D
