Someone's Broken

Today, I found out something I thought wasn't real.

One of my teammates in the org I'm applying to right now is heartbroken. I really thought everything that I've observed the other day was just a mistake. It's sad how time flew that fast. It's like yesterday they were so sweet with his girl during practices, the next thing you know, after seeing them just high-five-ing in front of you, they broke up already.

About that "high-five" thing, I saw it yesterday. I was there. Seeing my teammate's reaction upon seeing his ex while he was with his friends was heartbreaking. He was like laughing around with two of my teammates when suddenly his ex appeared in front of him, looking as awkward as unusual, he turned left but the ex went near him and gave him a high-five.

Boy or girl, I don't like it when an ex acts like nothing happens while the other one slowly dies inside seeing the ex pretends, especially when the ex is the main reason of the break-up. I mean seriously, can't you be a little sensitive for a moment? Someone's hurting. Helloooo?! Oh, well, maybe one has to pretend everything's alright for them to forget the past and move on eventually. But sometimes, you also have to be aware that your actions might hurt the other person. If you think it might hurt the other, or you yourself, if you're going to a place where it is most probable to bump each other, then don't go to that place. Don't be too selfish and just hang around not minding the person if he/she might have not moved on yet.

*sigh*
I do hope his appetite won't get affected by this catastrophe. x
