Passion? What Passion?

Have you ever wondered what kind of thing will you get yourself into and be passionate about? During my childhood years, my family and I used to play badminton at the nearby plaza, kind of considering it a “family sport” since we played almost every Sunday back then. I actually liked badminton but I never had the chance to give it a shot, like getting someone to train me just like sporty kids do, not even joining a school tournament because the schools (I had two since I transferred to another school when I was in grade 5) I attended back in elementary didn’t have sports events. And also, I think papa didn’t feel the need to hone our sporty side. But when I was in grade 5, some grade 6 girls invited me to hang with them and play volleyball; that was when I got interested with the sport. High school came. "Call A Friend"

A friend once asked me to help him with his English assignment. The instruction is to make paragraphs with different concepts (in which you will see below after this). I just want to share this to you guys since I kinda think my english sounded nice, at least for me. Hah. And by the way, the stories I related to every paragraph I made were all based on my experience, so I hope you can also relate! -------------------- Lesson 1: Paragraph by Narration (Anecdote) It was Sunday morning at the Rodeo Arena in Manresa when I arrived early for training. I won the Rodeo Queen title in Rodeo Sa Manolo 2018! Too shy to proclaim this so I'm posting it here (a very late post). Definitely an experience that's one for the books! x

Walls

A thousand miles seems pretty far But they've got planes, trains and cars I'd walk to you if I had no other way I always remember you when I think of these lines from Hey There Delilah. I remember it had been only a few months since we had constant communication and I already thought that maybe long distance relationships could work, even if we were not in a relationship. But as time went by, I realized, I was the only one hoping for something to happen. I gave a chance into something I thought would take place. Then it occurred to me, that maybe long distance relationships are only possible for two people who are decisive enough to take the risk, who are firm enough to stand their ground, and who are mature enough to see and understand the situation they are about to face. I think it's time for me to really filter the people who try to get in my life or even break my walls because I know, deep down, eventually it will affect my vulnerability. And it's going to ...
